S54 Early Rankings

 Richard Castle - contributing reporter

Thanks again to Skynet who produces our rankings for us. After the busy day in Columbus and all the moving parts these might be pointless, let's see how they hold up for the next update.  I'd expect to see some improvements in pitching for Atlanta and especially Hartford as we see their league leading 45% IRS drastically drop with their bullpen additions. For what it's worth, Columbus was #2 with only 15% of inherited runners scoring. New Orleans adds a power bat they've been missing and should help them compete the Crains (Atl), Bonks (Har), Wan (Hun), or Castilla (Mty). I suspect Sierra (OKC) and Castillo (Hou) will have a measurable contribution to their new teams as well as each pushes for the playoffs. By record as of this writing:
  • 26-12
    • Atlanta (AL-E), Monterrey (AL-S), Pittsburgh (NL-E), New Orleans (NL-S)
  • 25-13
    • Oklahoma City (NL-W)
  • 24-14
    • New York (AL-E)
  • 22-16
    • Huntington Tropics (AL-S), Houston (AL-S)
While the NOOF started strong, no team has really pulled away within the first 1/4 of the season. Good luck the rest of the way!
