The All-Star break is here for Season 33, so let's see who made this season's teams!

In the AL, Cheyenne led the way with 7 All-Stars, with Pawtucket having the next most with 4. Pawtucket's Thomas Hutchinson leads this season's AL squad, making his 10th All-Star appearance! There were 9 first-time All-Stars on the AL roster this season.

In the NL, Florida had a most impressive 9 All-Stars, one of the highest totals to date!  Montgomery also had 5 players make the squad.   It's a young squad for the NL this season, with no players having over 5 career appearances and 16 first-time All-Stars!

Season 33 Power Rankings #2

We've hit the half way point of Season 33, so it's time for another edition of the power rankings!  And by the slightest of margins, we have a new #1, and it's Florida!  The world's top pitching staff combined with a very good offense has propelled them to the top spot.  We're see if the curse of the #1 ranking continues for dodgersrays!  Previous #1 Cheyenne falls to #2, but it's more like 1A.  A feisty Pawtucket squad comes in at #3, followed by Salem and Montgomery rounding out the top 5. Now for the biggest climbers and biggest falls since the last rankings!

Biggest Climbers: #17 Nashville (+14), #21 New York (AL) (+11), #18 Boise (+10), #15 Little Rock (+9)

Biggest Falls: #30 Richmond (-15), #22 Atlanta (-10), #29 Dover (-11), #20 Milwaukee (-7)

Season 33 Power Rankings #1

Season 33 is in full gear, and already it's time to check in with the first power rankings of the regular season!  At the top, we have Cheyenne holding on to their preseason #1 ranking.  Their solid play is not at all surprising.  The next two spots are occupied by division foes, with Florida at #2 and the team with the best record so far, Buffalo at #3, who was ranked 20th in the preseason polls (doh!). Houston and Salem round out the top 5 at #4 and 5 respectively.  Now, for the biggest climbers and biggest falls since the preseason rankings!

Biggest Climbers: #10 Atlanta (+18), #3 Buffalo (+17), #17 Portland (+15), #16 Charlotte (+11), #6 Pawtucket (+10), #15 Richmond (+10)

Biggest Falls: #30 Cincinnati (-25), #26 Los Angeles (-14), #19 Kansas City (-10), #20 Colorado (-9), #24 Little Rock (-9)

Season 33 Preseason Power Rankings

These are a little late due to the Holidays, but here are your Preseason Power Rankings!  These are based on Opening Day rosters.  Houston (formerly Texas) has been the top team for the past 4 preseasons, but they were just edged out by Cheyenne, who made major waves in Free Agency.  Still a lot of good teams, so it should be an interesting season.  Good luck and here are the rankings!
