Season 4 World Series Champions

Leon Jackson - Cobbfather Post Gazette

Four seasons of Regular Season dominance has finally paid off for rawdk27 and his Florida Shark Waves, paying off with a World Series title in Season 4. Florida took game 6, defeating Dover 5-3 to take the series 4 games to 2. Conti's RBI single in the 7th put Florida ahead for good, and Justin Kennedy added a solo home run in the 8th to seal the deal. Star closer Jeremi Welsh shut the door on Dover with 1.1 innings of scoreless relief for the save, while reliever Adam Winn got the win. Albie Torres pitched 6 solid innings allowing 2 earned runs. With a 2.29 ERA in 35.1 post season innings, Emmett Rhodes was the Playoff MVP for the Shark Waves. Congrats to rawdk on finally bringing home the trophy and congrats as well to jiml60 on making a great run with Dover.

That closes the book on season 4, thanks to everyone in Cobbfather for a great season. See you in Season 5!!
