S49 Updated Power Rankings

 Richard Castle - contributing reporter

We've reached the midway mark and the All-Star game is right around the corner so
it's time for another update to the power rankings. Our lawyers have advised us that we are not to speak about a certain bayou city until they have signed the agreement between Skynet and themselves. But things are improving on the bayou.
  • Movers
    • Pittsburgh climbs the most this quarter and now rank 12th overall. A big improvement from being ranked 20th last update.
    • Minnesota is our next mover, improving by 4 up to #17. They are also now tied with Dover for their division lead.
    • Montreal jumps 4 spots and into the Top 10, sitting at #8 but still trail their division leader by 6 games.
    • Hartford inches forward, climbing out of the gutter up 3 spots to #27. But like the great Ricky Bobby says, if you you're not first, you're last.
  • Sliders
    • Colorado must have played more away games lately as they've slipped 6 slots in the computer rankings and now are outside the top 10.
    • Chicago and Monterrey both fell 5 slots from 14/15 to 19/20 respectively. Let's see which of the two can turn it around.
    • San Juan also drops out of the top 10, dropping to #14 overall from #10.
    • OKC is slowing losing their position on the AL West and dropped 2 slots in the rankings down to #10. With many of their players on the trade market, will we continue to see them drop in the rankings?
