The Cleveland Kings franchise is abandoned and the minors are very much depleted. I will do what I can to represent them, as the numbers are very misleading to alot of their players.
1.Rob Manning......Rob is a power hitter to the max. High power, great batting eye, low contact....Steve Balboni, Jim Thome type hitter... He will have alot of homers, walk, and strikeouts. He should have a decent OBP with his batting eye. So far this season in AAA, he has 11 homers, 42 RBI'S, 36 walks and 39 strikouts in just over 170 at bats. His OBP is .416, and his OPS is .960.
2. Sidney Charleston......Sidney is spending his 3rd year in High A ball. He is currently batting .337 with 19 doubles, 4 triples, 2 homers, and 24 RBI's in just 47 games. His .406 OBP should make him a nice table setter for the "Big dogs" in Cleveland's line-up.
3. Rudy Stearns..... Rudy is starting out the year, his 4th in AA. He is hitting .337, with a very good .424 OBP. his total OPS is 1.004, which is not too shabby. He has 12 doubles, 9 homers, and 29 RBI'S so far. He has walked 26 times, while only fanning 27 in just over 170 at bats.
4.Rico Gomez...... Rico is in Low A ball. He has 21 doubles, 11 homers, and 57 RBI'S in just 47 games. He has walked 25, while fanning 26. He is very reliable with his .404 OBP and his 1.002 total OPS.
5.Kordell Carroll........Kordell is in Low A as well. He is hitting .354 with a .409 OBP, and a total OPS of .931. He has 11 doubles , 8 homers and 49 RBI'S in just 47 games. he has walked 16 times while fanning 32 in just over 200 at bats.
6.Jamie Glynn......Jamie is in Low A. He has been reliable thus far, sporting a 5-2 record and a 2.11 ERA. He has pitched 55 innings, while giving up 57 hits, 8 walks, 2 homers, and a dazzling 56 strikeouts.
7. Horacio Hernandez......Horacio has taken time off from CSI Miami to try his luck in the minors. He is 5-2 with a 4.06 ERA so far this season. While pitching 57 innings, he has given up 63 hits, only 2 homers, 24 walks while striking out 51.
8.Stu Mateo.......Stu has done a good job in AAA this season. He is sporting a 4-2 record with a 3.61 ERA. He has pitched 47 innings, surrendering 47 hits, 16 walks, 5 homers, and striking out 43.
9. Jack Cosby......Jack "Don't call me Bill" Cosby is doing a good job so far in AAA. He has a 2-5 record, and a very respectable 3.73 ERA. While throwing 60 innings, he has given up 71 hits, 10 homers, 15 walks, and has 48 strikeouts.
