Overall Cobbfather is a fantastic league will little turnover from season to season, but this coming S62 seems to be a little different. Owners are GREAT and the commish, even though he owns a team in Canada; does a great job catering to what the majority wants out of the league. That said, here are the teams for sale this season.
- Boston (AL)
A storied franchise that has only had two owners, the original owned the team the first 50 seasons and the most recent from S51 through S61; where he's put the team back on the block. He ended with a 865-917 record; making the wildcard twice (S55 & 58).
- We'll look further at their current roster in a bit but let's look at the competition. The first one to mention should always be the Atlanta Expos, who own the most World Series rings in Cobbfather history and is on a historic run of Division titles. That said, Matty Moss and Kyle Crain - two of their main players over those titles are getting older. Augusta and New York are coming out of rebuilds so it might be the perfect time to start a rebuild under new ownership; with a goal to come out of the rebuild right around the time the others are starting to think about their next rebuild.

- This is a decently young team with some good pieces if you wanted to try and fire it up during Free Agent and bring in some missing pieces but also good if you want to go into sell mode for your own rebuild. Majority of the roster has less than 5 ML years of experience with only 4 players at or above the age of 31 and nobody over the age of 34. And little committed over the next few seasons.

The commissioner's office and stripped ownership and put this team up for sale for failing to reach the minimum win requirement that was put into place just this season. Sad news for Mexico City fans as the new owner likely moves the team back to the states. Cerveza for all before they leave! Previous owner held the team since S53, and spent 38M+ for 7 straight seasons. He's been a huge trader within the league so many of his former trade partners will miss him. The team missed the MWR by a single W. A single W made all the difference, though it was looking bleak, a HUGE late season run made it close. The team won 90 and 92 games the last two seasons but it was the S61 off season decision to sell EVERYTHING that limited their ability to reach the MWR. They likely should have held on to at least one of the major pieces they traded away.
- We'll look further at their current roster in a bit but let's look at the competition. This has to be one of the toughest divisions in the league, with both Houston and Huntington generally ranking in the top 5 teams in the league. Jacksonville is the final team in the division and has a solid owner but like I said, it's a tough division.

- As its been mentioned this team sold way too much last season so they didn't reach the league minimum 55 wins and had to be replaced. Should be in pretty decent shape to hit whatever rebuild you want to do from the get go.

The previous owner actually took over the team mid-way through FA last season for Pokey (if you know him, he was in a ton of leagues and even commish of a few). If you don't know Pokey, he likes to build a big budget team, mostly through free agency. Well considering the replacement owner came in mid-way through FA; he didn't quite get to fill in the gaps had he started at the turn of the season. The replacement owner also prefers to build their team via draft and IFA, which is why the temp owner is not returning. But the team has won the division the last 3 seasons, even won the DCS last year (this year they were knocked out). If the big budget team is your thing, definitely take a look here. Still a solid team to build around if you ask me.
- We'll look further at their current roster in a bit but let's look at the competition. Charleston and Austin are similar teams and seem to be stuck. Both are committed to contending against you for the title but feel like a step behind you. New Orleans is the last team, and they've just entered a rebuild, so nothing to worry about there.

- If you generally build with a big budget team, this one is set for you. With the temp owner taking over mid way through FA last season, you have a lot of wiggle room incase you wanted to go the prospect rebuild route as well.

Another one year owner, but this one is leaving partially because he has some real life friends in another league that they have more history in and he needs to cut back on a league. So unfortunately this one is the team. Sad to see him go, especially after taking the worst team in the league in S60 to the best team in the NL S61 and to the World Series; partially due to some promotions of top prospects - including one player who was on the ballot for both NL Rookie and NL MVP! But a lot to do with their free agent additions creative solution to their pitching holes. Lots to like about this team and its future. The prospects were position player focused but the recent owner filled the pitching need using tandems; which as I mentioned being the top team in the NL; worked out great for them.
- We'll look further at their current roster in a bit but let's look at the competition. An interesting division, I believe most though Buffalo would be rebuilding but they turned out a 91-71 season. DC was just above .500 but should be more competitive next season, and Columbus is likely entering a rebuild mode. As we mentioned this is a fantastic team to hit the ground running with some decent young depth.
