The El Paso Jabbering Jabronis are officially on the market.

    • After taking over a team with awful contracts and no farm system SeniorPloppie has decided to put the team up for sale. He's done what he could but a 5th straight finish just wasn't cutting it for his standards. 
    • The new owner will be able to look forward to Monterrey who won our Season 50 World Series and continually looks to make another appearance. A Huntington looking to come out of a rebuild after 4 straight seasons of 100+ losses. And a Houston team loaded with prospects.

    • The team is improving and doesn't have much guaranteed money, leaving the new owner their choice in going all in or starting fresh. The 81-81 record was the previous owner's best record in 8 seasons but they had two players on the AL MVP ballot this year. They do however play in a tough division with New York having won the division 11 straight years before being topped the last three by Atlanta. Though everyone here at the blog seems to think New York is ready for a rebuild any season now. With Boston being the 4th team in the division having just recently changed ownership themselves and working on a rebuild; a wildcard is definitely within sight. Topping Atlanta might be a tough task, but a quality owner should be up for it.
