Season 30 Power Rankings #1

A quarter of Season 30 is in the books, so it's time to check in with the Power Rankings!  No change with the top 2, as Texas and Atlanta hold their positions steadily.  Up to spots to #3 is Cheyenne, who is off to an excellent spot.  Also up 2 spots at #4 is Montgomery, who is sporting the league's best pitching to this point.  Up 6 spots to round out the top 5 is Cleveland who has been solid across the board to start the season.  Now, for the biggest climbers and biggest falls!

Biggest Climbers: #10 Los Angeles (+17), # 9 Colorado Springs (+14), #8 New York (NL) (+12), #7 Monterrey (+8), #21 Houston (+8)

Biggest Falls: #31 Vancouver (-19), #13 Salem (-10), #11 Florida (-7), #25 San Francisco (-7), #26 Boston (-7)

Season 30 Preseason Power Rankings

Spring Training is in full swing, so it's a good time to check in with the Preseason Power Rankings for Season 30!  Coming in at the top spot, Texas looks to be ready for another great season, coming in tops in pitching and 2nd in hitting and fielding.  They added Season 29 NL MVP Willie Cerda this offseason, which helped propel them to the top spot.   #2 is the defending champions Atlanta, who will face their first season in a while without star SP Thomas Hutchinson who left for Pawtucket in free agency.  Make no mistake, they will still be good, as their staff is still solid, and they rank as the #1 offense.  Coming in at #3 is Salem, who looks ready to push Texas and Atlanta in the AL this season.  #4 is the NL's top team, the winner of 3 of the last 4 NL pennants, Florida.  Rounding out the top 5 is Cheyenne, who will make their mark in the AL race this season for sure. 

 It should be a very interesting season, we definitely look forward to the regular season kicking off.   In the meantime, here are the complete preseason power rankings!
